Paradox of Power Passed

These pieces were made in the early 90s. At the time, I was interested in expanding beyond the two dimensional presentation of photographs and experimenting with the photographic process. Unlike previous work, these are overtly about myself and the dilemma of being inspired by the cultural developments occuring in urban culture that simultaneously challenged my position within that culture. The multi-panel pieces are nearly life-size.
