My photography and performance work has largely been concerned with the impact of economics on personal life. While early photographs admired the approach and concerns of the New Topographic artists, the recent work is a montage of still and video imagery that conveys the unsettling complexity of contemporary life in an increasingly transnational climate.

These concerns are evolving into a global perspective with projects like the recent Village Idiot performance and Perceptions of the Commuting Ethnographer , which is in research phase.

My work with C5 (1997 - 2007) explores the social and theoretical implications of technology in society. We utilized data visualization, performance expedition, installation, and such to work out ideas regarding interests like big data, data transposition, and sublime data. I was a member of this collaborative group since its inception. Photography, video, sculpture, performance, and internet-based work are manifestations of our efforts.
