Jack Toolin is an artist working with a variety of media, including photography, video, performance, new media. His work in photography and performance has been presented at venues such as The Project Room at the Chelsea Art Museum, the San José Museum of Art, San Francisco Camerawork, and the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts, Grand Rapids, MI. He was a founding member of the new media collective C5 (1997–2007), whose work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including The Whitney Museum of American Art's artport, Ars Electronica, Linz, Austria, and the Museo Nacional de Bellas Arte, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and more. Toolin lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
