I am an artist working with a variety of media, including photography, video, performance, new media. My work in photography and performance has been presented at venues such as The Project Room at the Chelsea Art Museum, the San José Museum of Art, San Francisco Camerawork, and the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts, Grand Rapids, MI. I was a founding member of the new media collective C5 (1997–2007), whose work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including The 2002 Whitney Biennial, Ars Electronica, Linz, Austria, and the Museo Nacional de Bellas Arte, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and more. The wind wind-driven sculpture South by Southwest was included as part of the exhibition Instrument, in Lövestad, Sweden.
I have taught art, art history, art theory and media studies at universities on both the West Coast and East Coast, and I am currently teaching at Pratt Institute, Pace University and New York University Polytechnic School of Engineering.
